PEARL OF THE ALPS
The charming village of Combloux, once dedicated to cereal growing, has metamorphosed over the years into a must-see summer tourist destination. From the 1920s onwards, visitors began to flock to this enchanting place, which Victor Hugo had already described as “the pearl of the Alps”. In the 1930s, winter sports made their appearance, making Combloux a ski destination with access to the large Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area.
Today, Combloux is known as “Combloux 360° Mont-blanc France”, thanks to its exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Mont-Blanc, the Aravis, the Fiz chain and the Aiguilles Rouges.
